There are times that I push myself to go beyond botanicals and find ways to create interesting designs using geometrics –lines, circles, whirligigs, waves, triangles, squares and more. Geometrics are interesting because they can provide their own sense of texture – by placing lines closely together or farther apart, by creating triangles or circles to define the edge of a scarf or garment, or by laying geometric figures over sheer silk, it can makes the overall effect so much more vibrant.
